HI. we recently moved to Elizabethton from Knoxville. Very into the off road thing and found this forum and wanted to say HI. We have, so far, a Hammerhead 400 Tiburon. Mini off road buggy that has the Yamaha Big Bear engine. I have the only mini buggy call in radio show. It's at www.blogtalkradio.com/bedo. Please visit us as all our shows from this year are archived. We plan on riding the I-81 Motorsports Park in Greeneville, Callantee, the forest roads and hopefully, Shulls farm. We are so-hosting an event March 14-15 at I-81 MSP. It's the bikes and buggys blowout. If you have a dirt bike or buggy, please join us. Atv's welcome too. So, good to be here and hope to ride with some new people. Oh, also will be forming a league, the Mountain Mini Buggys Assoc, a division of the MBRA(mini buggy riding assoc).
Thanks and hope to see ya soon.

Had a dirt bike when I was a kid, but I've not been on a motorcycle once I had a car.... (been meaning to get a motorcycle, just haven't gotten around to.....)

Never been big on ATV's, hadn't thought about buggys. Have to admit, I get a kick out of being back on a 4x4 trail, rollin' along, enjoying the scenery, when a pack of ATV's charge around the corner and are shocked to see a 'mall crawler' back in the middle of the woods. Kids in the back in car-seats, waving at 'em as we pass.... 'course, since I don't take the Disco as much and take the Series instead, it's not as shocking, I don't think, it looks like it's supposed to be in the woods.... the Discovery can do it all, but it's not 'as cool' as the older Land Rover is.

Anyway, lookin' forward to seein' ya on the trails!

Glad you found us. I thought MSP was just ATVs. Tell me more about this event in march. Here's a short video of my buggy.

what kind of buggy is that? or did you build that yourself. what engine are you using. i dont crawl or hill climb. too chicken i guess. got any pics of that monster? thanks for the welcome.
i guess i-81 is mainly for atvs, bikes, and mini buggys. when i took my first mini buggy, they asked me to come back, so, i'm bringing a different one and some friends. :) tell me more about your buggy... i'd like to get a racing thing going with the mini buggys at Shulls's farm this coming year. i may be selling my HH400 to get a more suitable racing buggy. i like the street legalness of it, but i also want to be able to jump and race it.

Mine is custom built. It has a 350 chevy engine and runs on propane. It has 42" tires. I do some crazy stuff with it. One day I'll show ya.

Is yours locked in the differentials?
