I have a 99 Dodge Ram 4x4 1500 series automatic trans and I have had problems with the transfer case tail housing cracking. The first time this happened we fixed just the tail housing but Saturday I was driving on the high way at 70 mph and again the tail housing on the transfer case broke and now i have to get a new one and a new yoke. The advice I am looking for is if i should keep this gas hog or fix it and sell it for a Ford. I told Pat along time ago when you were offered $5000 that you should have taken it. Go to kbb.com and look up the value. I don't know the details, but I got a value of $3600 just guessing.
