I purchased this truck back in March when my red pick-up broke down. I drove it for a month while repairing my Red Ford. From then it set parked for a couple months till we sold my wife's car. She drove this pick-up till she got pregnate. Then I bought her a Bronco so she can get the kid's around. I have no use for this truck being it's a short wheel base truck, and I really need a bigger truck to pull my trailers. This truck will not pull any of my Goosenesck trailers safely, and my Ol' Red ford is getting tired. I decided to see this to help buy a same body style 3/4 or 1 ton truck.
The truck has 80k miles on it, and we just drove it back from Kansas to Tennessee, and it did good. It did so well, that we got a speeding ticket not 60 miles from our destination.
The truck is a 1995 Ford F-150 XLT, straight cab, short bed, 302, 4r70w, 2wd pick-up. It has power door locks, power windows, power steering, power brakes, power lumbar support, Cruise control, AM/FM CD sterio, and A/C so cold you'll turn it down in the summer! I have been getting about 14mpg around town, but on the interstate at 65mph on the way back from Kansas, I got 21mpg! The only modifications are an true dual aftermarket exhaust (No Y-pipe) and K&N drop in filter. Also in the pictures below notice how well kept the bed is. I have NEVER put anything in the bed on this truck that would comprimise the value of the truck. The front tires have about 40% left and the rear has about 60% left (I just rotated and balanced the tires), the front brakes have about 50% left and the rear will be due within the next oil change.
The truck has recently had the following: New air and fuel filter, oil and filter, transmission oil, pan gasket, and filter, rear end fluid and gasket, motorcraft plugs, wires, cap and buttion, ICM, coil, Valve cover gaskets, Fan clutch, water pump, thermostat, serpentine belt, idler pulley, tensioner pulley, steering box, altinator, battery, and today, I flushed the cooling system, and put my guestimation of 50/50 mix in it with some redline wetter water.
The bad is there are normal scratches and dings for a 13 year old vehicle, There is a exhaust leak at the exhaust manifold to head mating surface on the driver side and is very obvious when first started up, the smog pump will need to be hooked back up is you live in a emissions testing area, it would also need 2 cateletic convertors. The o2 sensor will sometimes flash a CEL, but it hasn't happened in over 2 months. It also needs the drums turned and new brake shoes on the rear.
Thanks for checking it out! Sorry it's dirty in the pictures.
